Permit checks, cost estimates and the contractor directory give informational results. They are not permits, approvals, engineering reviews or legal advice. See our building code disclaimer for details.
Your responsibilities
Give accurate project details. Use the site only for lawful purposes. Don't misrepresent a result to a building department, lender, contractor or anyone else. Don't attempt to disrupt the service or collect data from it in bulk.
Contractors
Any agreement for work is between you and the contractor. We are not a party to it. Check the contractor's license and insurance before you hire them.
Intellectual property
The site, its content and its tools belong to BuildCheck US or its licensors. You may use reports you generate for your own project.
No warranty
The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that results are complete, current or fit for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, BuildCheck US is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses from construction, permit or contractor decisions that relied on the site.
